Safe Kids is designed for children, with a special focus on Muslim families. No personal information is collected from children. Children cannot create accounts, enter personal data, or interact outside the list of selected videos.
2. Parental Information
Some limited data may be stored locally on your device (such as parental settings like time limits or video restrictions). This information is never shared with third parties.
3. Firebase Data Usage
To provide parental control features and synchronize preferences across devices, Safe Kids uses Google Firebase to securely store limited parental data, including:
- 👤 Parent’s email (for account access and support)
- 🔐 Parental PIN code (encrypted, never stored in plain text)
- ⭐ Favorite channels selected for the child
- ⚙️ App settings (time limits, daily video count, child’s age, restricted channels)
This data is only used to enable app functionality and is never sold or shared with third parties.
4. Video Content
All videos are streamed from YouTube using the official YouTube Player API. Safe Kids does not own or host these videos and complies with YouTube’s Terms of Service. Content includes cartoons, educational material, and Islamic educational videos suitable for Muslim family values.
5. Advertising and Purchases
The app is ad-free (no third-party advertising). Safe Kids requires a one-time payment to unlock all features. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.
6. Compliance
We comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
